WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT THIS FREE COPY?
The copy you are holding is unique is that it is considered 'a misprint'.
To explain, first more about EXCAVATOR itself before this particular issue, is that Excavator is a book printed via crowdfunding, meaning we fund the printing of our book on Kickstarter.
This issue of EXCAVATOR was printed for the Kickstarter for Issue #3 and had three covers:
- Cover A - Nil Carmona
- Cover B - Ken Mitchroney
- Cover C - Emmanuel Pérez
And here is the corrected version...

The printer did not want the copies back, so we decided to offer these copies free in certain situations!

Why is Issue 3 - Cover C not offered free?
You mention Cover C... and you may be going "I've seen free versions of covers A and B but... what happened to Cover C? Do you have any free copies of that one?" Well the answer to that is simple. We do have misprints for Cover C but due to a misprint on the Cover, a glaring one, those will not be made available to the public.
Unlike the internal issue, this is pretty glaring. Honestly, if we didn't tell you about the difference of the misprint, you'd never notice, more likely. But this one... is, well... uh... pretty easy to spot.
